Bakery Supervisor

Job Description
To supervise and coordinate activities of Bakers who will be engaged in mixing, dividing, molding, and proofing of dough, and in baking, slicing, and wrapping of bread, pastries, and other baked items.
To examine dough batter for specified consistency.
To read charts of fermentation room and ovens to verify specified humidity temperature.
The Bakery Supervisors will oversee operation of machinery, like rounding, curling, icing, slicing, and wrapping machines to make sure maintenance of specified quality standards production schedules.
To ensure freshness of all bakery items and food in a bakery, as well as ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery premises.

Job Description
To clean the kitchen equipment and tools before use. To measure the correct amount of ingredients for recipes and prepare a variety of products, including cakes, cookies, cupcakes and more following traditional and modern recipes.
To measure batter and fillings into uniform portions and minimize waste.
To load and unload ovens with products.
To monitor the temperature of baked goods on a regular basis to ensure freshness.
To maintain the Bakery’s production schedule by following a strict daily routine.
To monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
To decorate baked goods with fresh fruit, icing, and other toppings.
To recommend recipes to the Bakery Manager to renew the menu and attract more customers.
To adhere to sanitation and food safety procedures.
